Sammy~Hope you had a good time in Edinburgh.

Last night after frantic phone calls got house no for party house.
Off i toodles, eventually find house, bang on door for ages(music loud)ask for DS,lad comes to door ~ not DS ~but get this lad with same name~bizzare as DS's name is unusual, tells me DS has left, eventually track him down & get home much too late.
Have given DS story about needs to come home at given time, answer mobile & not pretend its broken ect.
    Phew.

Thats my budget per month pooky...I need to start taking the money out and putting it in envelopes and then I only have that rather than taking my card, and having the cushion there of spending more :(

We've got a seperate account for food/petrol shopping - I transfer the money in on pay day and then when it's gone, it's gone....does focus the mind.

Sally-I want one of those debit cards you can get that you put money on and that's it. Then, I would only be able to spend a certain amount each week...so far it's only that O2 one I've seen advertised

Bun can't you get a pre paid credit card. There are loads about but you have to watch out for the fees etc. Or open another bank account with the same branch and transfer over the £x you have for the week and use that. Its free then :j

I need to start thinking about DD's birthday - just over a week away. She wants a new phone - LG KS360. Anyone know if it's any good
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches
