Hello all
Had a lovely lunch at MIL's - roast chicken and all the trimmings and eaton mess for pud.....yums.
As for dinners, I make up batches of basics that can be adapted.
Mince with onions/peppers in a tomato sauce - used for Spag bol/pasta bake/lasagne/chilli.
Sausage meat - I buy in bulk, add onions/herbs/garlic and make into meatballs...I use these with pasta or roast in gravy with dumplings.
Mixed beans - I buy dried beans, soak/cook/freeze in portions to use in chilli/pasta bake/bean burgers.
Fishcakes/corned beef cakes (DH allergic to fish)
Individual pies - I normally use the leftover pickings from the bones after they've been in the stockpot...small amount of meat - lots of stock and veg.
All handy to keep in the freezer and adapt as needed."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

I can tell this weekend, feeling very drained at the mo.
I'm not on a massive dose, just 125mgs a day.
I also have a very low heartrate which has got slower now I'm running a lot.
It's about 45 - 50 beats per minute.
I've had quite low blood pressure lately tooIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
