Very interesting when you look at this guys ebay account a bit closer.

Although he deleted the starting email to this thread, his details are here:
    http://forum.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=;action=viewprofile;username=bbcv82

From this you get name and username Tien and bbcv82

Now we know bbcv82 is also his ebay name as he kindly gave us a link earlier, also here:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6354836184&ssPageName=ADME:B:LC:UK:1

Now the interesting bit a tienbj bought a "pen" (all it says) for 1p and get this "free delivery". Clearly increasinf feedback by buying own items!!!!!

All you have to do to unlock this phone for FREE and make it stay on your chosen network other than 3 is

DO NOT REGISTER IT WITH 3

You are not obligated to do this. The only reson people do is to get the free £5-£15 of calling credit 3 give you. This runs out after 30 days and you have to top up £15 to carry on with a network thats has gone back in time to how Orange and Vodaphone used to be quite a few years ago, where your credit expires after 30 days.

    Goto:- http://www.trycktill.com/eng/

follow the drop down options and UNLOCK with the +7 option (NO Other)

To get the phone unlocked in a shop with master reset after you have registered it with 3 cost at least £10 if you go in the shop and seem to know what your talking about :)

sorry joe wasnt critasizing you,was just letting people know it was still ok to unlock if they did exceed the 5 attempts :)I wouldn't use the 3 network  AT ALL it is as bad as t-mobile for coverage but they do sell exceeeeeeeeedinly cheap phones ;) even if they are bricks and you have to buy a rucksack as a personal case for them :)

excuse me, folks. is there anybody here who's still interested on this phone? bought 1 from cpw as xmas pressy for my dear nephew. but ungrateful sod, he didn't like it. he sees it like a girly thing (well, not until he spotted my tesco's gamecube which he eventually preferred to receive from me. cheeky!).

can't bother ebaying it, too much hassle. a friend suggested selling it thru amazon's marketplace for less hassle. but looking there, it is already being offered for cheaply £60 which I have to beat for faster selling. with amazon's cut & my own postage charge, it would almost leave me with nothing.

so to at least regain what i paid for, i would like to offer this phone for fellow mse'r at the actual price (paid cpw £44.99 as shown on invoice) + pp only.

    pm me if interested.

    edit:
    offer taken. cheers!
