As is cupcakes- what you need to invent is a low fat diet cupcake for me :D
Maybe carrot cake with swirly butter cream on top (made using reduced fat butter?!) Hmmm...cake
  • They want me to start in a month but need to sort it with bcard so my leaving date is bought forward. So that will mean i get 2.5 months of garden leave money won't it?

Re carrot cakes, yes done these and do lowfat cream cheese frosting, soooo yummy. Need to try so more low fat variations too i think

Cool- I'd either save every spare penny or really hit the debts as much as poss to reduce what's hanging over you if anything like this ever happens again (hopefully it won't!! ) :)

Hi everybody! (or should that be anybody?!)

Feeling a bit fed up today as I weighed myself and I only lost 1Ib over a week of being really good (this is genuinely really good -not deluding myself really good) So totally ticked off. Even cried a little bit as I was so disappoited and I really did feel like I had lost at least 3.... Anyway OH was really nice and gave me a cuddle and said it was just not showing 'cos I've propably eaten something which has made me retain some water and Aunt Flo is due a visit soon...

On the bright side I have lost 3 pounds in total... I must be patient. It will show eventually!

Hey Laura - try not to be too down about it dude. If Auntie Flo is on her way, that has more than likely affected your weight. If you stick to the plan, when she's gone you will be V light indeed!;) I can put on up to half a stone during a visit! (OK getting a bit irritated with Auntie Flo and everything about her. Can we just call it a period and be done with it??!!)

  • Hi everyone, hope you've had good weekends?
Confzzled - pleased you had a good time away.
Tilly - congratulations on the job, you must feel relieved. Don't worry too much about not liking the job - if that is the case, at least it means that you can have a leisurely look around at other jobs while knowing that you being paid; it can be easier to be objective that way. Also, this way you can see whether it's banking you don't like or whether it was banking at that particular company!
Laura - don't feel down about not losing more - you've done brilliantly by not cheating all week, and I often find that after a week like that, it can sometimes take a little while to show up on the scales, so hopefully next week you'll find out that you've more than made up for it!
Hope everyone's ok and sorry if I've missed anyone's news. I've not been on too much recently as work is fairly full-on and I've been feeling pretty grotty in the evenings...
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
