    Just had a call from an agency letting me know I have an interview next Tuesday with an uber cool media agency on the Kings Road! PA/New Biz Coordinator. Am allowing myself a short moment of joy, tempered by my usual realism and borderline pessimism. Huzzah!
    I don't like 7up :( I usually hit the lucozade but can't be bothered to walk as far as the only shop I know that sells it. Too lazy today. Wish I didn't have to work tonight and could just sit on the sofa in my fluffy socks and watch the big brother final.

    Actually Rubes you wonderful peice of woman meat you - do you remember ages ago you PM'd me an agency you were with? Well I very cleverly deleted it :( And this is bad! So if you wouldn't mind, sending it again, that would be fab. Thank you love :D I just keep thinking I'll be looking for a permanent job for the rest of my life - Today the woman said "whats the most important thing about a job to you?" and I answered, "Security - I don't want to keep looking for a job - I would like to stay and progress through a company." And then she said: "Okay. Well I've got this maternity cover contract...." WHAT??????? Did you not just hear me?????

    And that job sounds amazing so feel free to get excited! But maybe wait till after the interview :D

    Tilly - so sorry about your redundancy news - and btw I didn't notice any self-pity in your post! I saw you facing up to it!! Glad you have 3 months cushion dude - but I know it can be really scary. My OH was made redundant when we were first married, I was studying and we had a baby on the way. It was VV scary - but we got through it - and you will too. ESPECIALLY as you have a very valuable skill which not everyone has - baker of amazing cupcakes that everyone wants to eat! And you have a business already setup, just waiting for you to expand it;)
