  • Hi peeps, as some of you have prob seen on my facebook i have been made redundant. Thanks for the messages.

As for payout nothing for me :-(. I leave on 17th Sept! So quick. But they are giving me my 3 months garden leave so will get normal salary until December so not complete dire straits!! I'm soooooo worried, the fact that Phil still hasn't got a job since April really worries me and my salary was all that was keeping us afloat.

Anyway sef pity over, i'm being positive, i still have my cakes, even though it doesn't make me enough money yet i can give that some more focus. Plus in a weird way i'm also happy about it. Because i am so unhappy in that job it's great to know in 2 weeks i won't have to do it but purely from a money point of view it's horrid. So job search commences!! I do have an interview on wednesday with nationwide (another bank which i'm not sure i want to go to another) but at least i have an interview.

Rubes- looks like we are redundancy buddies then!!! We can make this into a real positive for us!!

Diet wise still on the wagon! Planning my meals a week at a time which is good. Tonight i'm doing a point friendly chicken kasmiri (curry) yummy yum. But i think i might blow my points on a bottle of wine too!! Feel tis needed!

Re facebook real names, i am also confused with some! Plus is there anyone i'm not FB friends with? PM me if so so we can get connected baby!!!! xx

Well it's a really tough break, especially since its only a year since the last time but if you hated it and were miserable and have 3 months fully paid coming up, maybe it's a blessing in disguise? Have a break when you're officially out of there and try to get your head together. I hope you're OK! Be lovely if you could be cupcake queen for a career!

I don't care about my name appearing on here so if anyone isn't friends with me on FB, I'm Jo Warne in real life x

    Afternoon All,
Had another jolly morning at work, jolly because PL wasn't there again! I will PM Tash and Tilly as I haven't got them on FB. I must admit though I'm not going on there as much after Rosies identity theft and us having a spell of viruses.

LAURA; Had a NSD yesterday.Like Ruby I thought you were on holiday too.
Tilly: Sorry to hear your news.

Princess: About to send your food plan!
Ebbs: Will be posting book this afternoon.
Ruby: Good for you sticking to your plan, it's scary but liberating when you can have the courage of your convictions.
    Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942
    Buffer Zone 1; £84 -

Looking good for my second NSD today :D
  • Urgh, hang over properly kicking in now, feel awful. Oh well, new bag of maltesers to get me through :D

Haven't got the book yet! But I'm a quick reader so should be done next week and then it will wing it's way to the next lucky lady (address needed please!)

Just went and registered with yet another agency. I lose track of them all, I really do. I doubt it will be any more fruitful than the others...
    End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt :(
    Today's total: £7,297.06 :o

  • Ebs - 7up, stat! Seriously, it's the BEST thing for hangovers (apart from not drinking in the first place obviously). Mmmm...Maltesers. Let me know if you want the names of any good agencies you might not already be across.

Just had a call from an agency letting me know I have an interview next Tuesday with an uber cool media agency on the Kings Road! PA/New Biz Coordinator. Am allowing myself a short moment of joy, tempered by my usual realism and borderline pessimism. Huzzah!
