So good morning people! And happy flipping Friday I must say. Considering it was a bank holiday weekend this week seems to have dragged so much!! Or maybe its because I've been working harder than usual for all these different bosses.

The interview, I forgot to tell you, well basically I sucked because I couldn't answer a simple question. Which was: "Why do you enjoy secretarial work?"

IT'S ON MY CV THAT I'VE BEEN DOING IT FOR SEVEN YEARS DOES THAT NOT TELL YOU ANYTHING!!!

But apparently not. So I blurted some tiddle about liking making lists and ticking it off at the end of the day (true but not relevent to the job), liking being told what to do and working to a structure and some other carp about being organised and enjoying mundane tasks. !!!!!!.

I don't think I got it, I've not heard a peep since from the agency.

Never mind it's still early, there's still time. I'm not panicking much. Much.

I have had a terrible, expensive, bad bad week girls. I've spent well over £100 again. Even last night, a cheap night out, I still managed to get through £24. Dammit.

Think I should just write off this week and start more determinedly from Monday. (Is determinedly a word??)

Princess - I watch The Hills! It's trashy but addictive! I like Lauren but I hate Heidi! She drives me mad!! My fave is Whitney though - not sure why! Oh and you do look like Audrina.

Ebs - sorry to hear you're a bit annoyed about your interview performance. You might have thought you sounded rubbish but you never know what impression you gave them! You're a bright, personable, capable girl so I'm sure that came off and if this wasn't the right one, well there will be other jobs I'm sure.

Tilly - I'm SOOOOOO sorry to hear you've joined me on the redundancy trail babes, I really am. I know you've only been there a year but any chance of a bit of a pay out? Are you alright in yourself? Hope OH is supporting you! Big hugs.

I'm still feeling a bit freaked out by my decision but still sure it was the right thing. The company called me this morning with all these ideas about how they could make the job right for me based on why I'd said I didn't want it (no more money was offered I hasten to add!). Anyway I thought that was really lovely of them but I still said no. As soon as I'd said no yesterday I felt this huge sense of relief.
Going to spend this afternoon calling round some agencies and making appointments for next week. Operation Dream Job has begun!

Yep- it is! Also- don't write of the whole week. Just aim for one day instead!
