Ryanair Charges On No-Shows?

I always mention the full price I have paid, including all taxes and charges as well as charges for luggage (if I have had any checked luggage), when I talk about how much I have paid for my Ryanair flights. That's fair enough, but at time of booking don't you get charged the taxes? And hoiw do you reclaim these?
It is totally irrelevant (and uninteresting) to hear that the price for the flight was 1 p but the taxes and charges were £30. Then the flight costs £30. Simple (and still shows Ryanair as a very good value airline)...0
