The op earns in excess of this.
If the op is desperate she could get a food package from her CAB.
That is for benefit purposes not crisis loans. a person can be in crisis for many reasons which is not preventable by the scale of income they have (for e.g they could have lost their money [therefore it doesnt matter how much that person earns]). There is no law about what level of income you can have preventing a payment of a crisis loan. That is for the decision maker to decideYou can't beat an egg.........................NO WAIT!0 -

I am talking about the op's circumstances and she will not get a crisis loan for not budgetting her income well.
The DM is more likely to suggestany help which is likely to be available quickly from other people such as employers, relatives, close friends, charities and benevolent funds (but such help will only be considered if it looks certain that it will be available – sources of help such as employers or relatives will not automatically be suggested as alternatives to a Crisis Loan).

As I have suggested before she can get a food parcel from the CAB.
I am sure there are circumstances that would allow for someone to get a crisis loan who are on a good income, but I know many people who are claiming benefits turned down and are recieving less money.0 -
but its not all about how much income you have. Also there are many many many people who do not budget well who do get crisis loans (and more than once as well).
The original post by you said she will not get one because of the level of income, this is wrong.
I agree with you in that someone on that wage should probably not require a CL. But telling them they cant because they have £13000 wage is incorrectYou can't beat an egg.........................NO WAIT!0 -
I worded it wrong I agree, but I was meaning in her circumstances she would not get one.atomicsheep wrote: »But telling them they cant because they have £13000 wage is incorrect0
