OPINIONS please..Peugeot 207, Ford Fiesta New or Vauxhall Corsa New

Hmmmmmmm

I am in the process of getting a new car and am torn between the above three? Does anyone have any views on which one is best? Anyone own one?

I am looking for a car to do high mileage in :)
Thanks

The Fiesta would be my choice.
  • Our Fiesta had 75k on the clock when we got shot of it (03 plate, 1.4tdci). I'd done the front brakes a couple of times in the 3 years we had it (pads and discs)and the rear brakes once (which also required new bearings as these collapsed when the drums are removed).
Strut went, spring snapped, brake pipes needed done and finally the leakoff pipe/injector seals needed done (which is/was a common Ford TDCI problem) causing fumes to be released in the cabin.
That was the MK 6 I believe.

Do you mean new or 'new to you'?

I am taking delivery of a new Mazda2 next week and would at least suggest that you check it out against the cars you've mentioned.

I would agree, far better car than any on that list IMO.

We agree far too often these days:rolleyes:. I'm also buying a new Mazda6 estate next week, seems sensible to me but I await your comments:p.

Anything with a Mazda badge is OK by me, my Daughter has a 2000W Mazda 323, it still has the original exhaust and battery on it, never missed a beat, fantastic car.;)

Reliability unmatched in my (and my father's) experience over the last 15 years and now they drive as well as they look (I hope, as I didn't drive either:rotfl:).

They both have great write ups so here's hoping.:D

I have a new Fiesta Zetec-S TDCI and its great, nice and nippy around town and fast enough on the motorway, lots of room upfront (feels as big as my old focus) and doesn't feel like a tiny car to drive.

I have recently been getting over 55mpg and my average since owning it (since Dec 1st) is 50mpg.
