Why??? am confused??
My nan has a vax one and it doesnt suck any water up, compared to other cleaners ive used.
I also purchased one once when they were on offer at B&Q, took it straight back after it poured water all over my carpets.0 -
I bought the Which bestbuy in January. I researched it and bought online. Its very good. Its a Bissell. I will look into the exact model if you want and post it as there are several and at the moment its exact name escapes me.
As i said it won the Which best buy.:footie:0 -
Another vote here for the rug doctor, my local morrisons and focus also have them for hire....0

It is a very useful site and I am grateful to you for drawing my attention to it.
On the other hand I did not know that it was possible to buy reconditioned machines and I am now tempted to spend money. I would not have bought a full price one.
Again I apologise for my previous post.0 -
Anyone able to reccomend a good company to come in and do the job? Last time I tried, the carpet went grey..."This is a forum - not a support group. We do not "owe" anyone unconditional acceptance of their opinions."0

another vote for the rug doctor here, we hired it when we moved out of our last flat and we got our deposit back ok, so it must have been fine or we'd have been charged for professional cleaning! our letting agent is renowned for taking the pee when it comes to getting deposits back for cleaning stuff too, their receptionist is also a professional cleaner so they make plenty of money out of it if they get to charge you.Mummy to

It would be great if you could post the model...I've come across a Bissell I like which costs £279.99!
I've seen the Rug Doctor advertised, it looks huge and bulky!Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

I also bought a reconditioned bissell carpet cleaner for 79.99 off their website. The cleaner is amazing, and leave the carpets so clean, and they are dry within a couple of hours.
I have 2 dogs and 3 cats, and it is the best thing i have ever bought to keep my carpets clean.
I also have their 4kg vacuum cleaner which is also amazing £30 from Asda!0 -
