As for the marathon - Wow - you've inspired me to get out tomorrow morning. I'm a sporadic runner but have pre-registered for the GNR (and half of me is really hoping I don't get in :p).
Look forward to hearing how it's going! :)

I'm in that next year as well, as I deferred my entry for this year. We might be able to meet up if you get in :)

Am just planning it out now and forgot how much hard work I had to put into it. If I don't get in I am going for a more local marathon in May 2010 which is more of a fell race marathon so whatever happens I'll do something. So from Jan 1st I will be alcohol free and my body will be a temple until whichever Marathon day

OH has been told his expenses will be paid as a priority as will any charges/interest we've incurred. I may say we've been charged £74,000 of interest :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
    2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!
    08/06/09 - [STRIKE]£11,497.68[/STRIKE] NOW - £9,757.75

You should give it a whirl on the expenses! :rotfl:

As for meeting up - I'll be on the one plodding at the back! Marathons are not for me and FELL RACING?!
I got a place in the GNR a few years ago, but managed to get pregnant just in the nick of time, so couldn't run :p
I do enjoy running but like to go early morning and now I leave for work at 6.30, that doesn't leave much time.
So I need a goal to keep me motivated...and this could be it! Thanks x
  • At work pretending to work  Didn't win again on BB but already £100 better off and it's all free so mustn't complain :D

No sign of OH's expenses  but no charges to my account yet so fingers crossed we may see sight of them tomorrow.

Have lost weight this morning :j Have about half a stone to lose to get to my proper running weight so I can run quicker.....hopefully and look god for xmas. Have a dress I really want to get in for xmas parties and just a smidge too tight. Have decided to eat sensibly and exercise during the week and eat what I like at weekends :D

I think I am a bit of a control freak. If I am eating well, have an exercise plan, housework plan then the money plan follows. Once one goes the all thing goes boobs up!

I've pre-registered for GNR too - last did it in 1992 so about time I did it again :rotfl:

I doubt I will get in, but if I do, we will meet up for a pre or post race drink or something for sure!! When I did London this year I met up with a couple of MSE'ers before the start which was really nice!

Yes, sounds good. Let's hope we get in! I've got my kit ready for the morning and cleaned my boudoir in preparation for tonight's exercises - so I'm in the zone! ;)
  • Glad you are all organised macgirl!

A meet up if we get in would be good fun :D

Just been to the gym and ruined my NSD by buying a big massive piece of chocolate cake BUT I deserve it and it is Friday :p My sides and stomach are aching so I think that's a good thing :)

Sorry to crash this guys but I need some advice re:Bingo britain. I have £6.96 cash, £28.55 bonus and it won't let me withdraw anything (insufficient balance) even though total is £35+. What can I do to withdraw?? I know some of you have been depositing to withdraw, how does this work?
    Thanks
