Garden Fence Spray Paint

  • if you use a sprayer, the B AND Q brand is as good as the ronseal or cuprinol one.
the dodge is to water the sprayable paint down (it is water based) so it goes on evenly. if you use it straight from the tin after a little while you come to a juddering halt as the whole thing clogs up,maybe 30% water is about right and it doesnt seem to effect the covering power.

just drain some out of the can then add the water and shake the whole thing up well before putting it into the sprayer bottle.

hope this is useful for you!

After reading this forum we will not be spraying our fence paint on the timber and we will also be careful when we paint the slates as the last thing we need is to fall out with our neighbours. I thought the fence belonged to both neighbours as we both paid for half of it. I don't think you should have to have the same colour but it would be nice to think each neighbour considered the other when painting and made sure they took care when putting the paint on. Thanks for all the advise and I am sorry you have had such terrible experiences.
