Stained Bath

You can still get astonish at 99p/£1 shops. The orange one smells lovely
I'd try that on it. What a silly bath design.
Also, perhaps try a magic sponge (JML or £1 shop too). We got coloured plastic toy scratch marks off our rented flats acrylic bath with that, which nothing else would shift.0 -
because the surface is abraded it will continue to hold the dirt
so you need to use a metal polish on it to resurface these bits
something like a fine silver polish - or even duraglit will work
BUT
you are going to need one heck of a lot of elbow grease to get then shiny...but will be fine and easy if you dont mind matt bumps
also dont get it all over the bath!!!!!! ( matt blotches not a good look)
just on the icky bits...Fight Back - Be Happy0 -
bio washing powder and a pan or kettle of boiling water.Another vote here for Barkeepers Friend - brilliant stuff!
I also remember that Astonish paste used to work pretty well, but don't know if that is still available?
yep, pound shop and wilkinson's and some branches of tesco. wonderful stuff. especially on my glass-ceramic cooker top.0 -
Toothpaste and a toothbrush... works on your enamel teeth!!!

Is it sad of me to keep checking back every few hours - I'm dying to know which one is going to do the job!!
Although, I suppose in fairness, the predecessors would have "weakened" it - as my husband says when I have to open a jar for him!!:rotfl:0 -
sorry for delay- here is bath after barkeeper's friend
