Waste of money - Morrisons value chicken & veg pies - pie crust, spoonful of gravy and a couple of peas!!

I think value canned toms are great - really no difference to branded. All supermarkets tried, no probs with any.
  • Well I use Lakeland's washballs and the eco balls and wouldn't go back to washing powder. I also use value tinned tomatoes.

I avoid value frozen peas, the last time I tried them they were like bullets. Perhaps they have improved though?
Own brand petit pois are usually good
  • lakeland shaped lingerie bags for washing machine - zips broke - useless!

totally agree - wrote a poor review and they refunded me but they continue to sell them despite mostly bad reviews also

the Lakeland lingerie drawer dividers (large size) which you are supposed to use to separate underwired bras - only useful if you are a 28aa size - no chance of a normal cup size fitting in them - again they issued a refund but seem to be ignoring the c**p reviews and continue to sell

Agreed, I switched from Birds Eye Garden Peas to Iceland Petit Pois fairly painlessly.

    Avoid really cheap tinned tuna.

  • Asda tuna flakes - thought they would be ok for sandwiches - they were vile - straight in the bin. I wouldn't even have given them to the cat (if I had one!)
    NO FARMS = NO FOOD
  • Tesco value cup-a-soups - cheap and nasty - went straight in the bin. Don't know how they compare to other stores as not been tempted to try any more.

    flakes of tuna
    cheap cuppa soups
    value weetabix from sainsburys
    value rice crispies
    onwards and upwards

Value tinned toms, they may be cheap, but you are paying for water.

Completely disagree - we use Sainsbury's Basics chopped toms, and when we used one can of them and one can of 'normal' chopped toms we really and honesty couldn't see any difference (we emptied them into bowls before we used them to check).

Basics Frozen mince on the other hand - vomit inducing (no other way to put it), and thats even before trying to eat it....

Chopped tom.s can be made from one of several companies who supply supermarkets with their basics range. I would guess that supermarkets chop and change who they buy their value ranges from as a result in differences of the product, sometimes its great, sometimes its foul- its probably dependant on who is offering the supermarket the best deal (is cost.)

I would never buy value diet lemonade, having tried several times, I found them to be so acidic that after a bottle, my fillings fell out!!

I would never waste my money on any other tea then PG Tips, I did try, several times, my friend even tried to "trick" me into a diiferent tea. I guessed first time, its something in the after taste that makes it not as good as the PG Tips. I feel annoyed I am hooked, these are some of the most expensive tea bags in the supermarket!

I would never waste my money on Boots No.7. I know this is a fave with more then many people, but EVERY TIME I use any of their moisturisers I break out in big ugly painful white head spots, around one day until I stop using the item. The toners and cleansers don't give me a clean enough result- make up is not all off and I find other brands do much better. Annoying as Boots tend to give away many vouchers for their NO.7 skin care.

Lush solid hair shampoo.Just doesn't cut it with me. I would get the same results from a bar of soap. Similar the conditioner, just not desne enough or moisturising enough, the tangles my hair ends up with are not worth the hassel- and my hair is short! All the other Lush items are great though.
