tesco value baby wipes, absolute rubbish, tiny thin sheets - neither use nor ornament.

They get anything out of clothes or carpets etc. Saved my wedding dress and my shoes, and those of several others! Wouldn't be without them. ;)

Wouldn't use anything but proper baby wipes on myself though! ;)

Waste of money - bagged salad. Goes nasty and slimy before I get chance to eat it all!

Value rice krispies - nobody would eat them. Value cornflakes are fine.

5-10% of Lakeland stuff is useless but they have customer reviews now and if you post a review, or contact them, they'll issue a refund.
  • Wilkos basic baby wipes (the ones in the packets not the pots) are a good thickness.
Sainsburys Honey is a bit thin and runny but Asda's is ok
Sainsbury basic Jams, Marmalade and tinned fruit well worth trying
Asda Chocolate Spread is lovely but their peanut butter is a bit cloyey
Asda frozen cauli are whole florets but avoid the Sainsbury ones because they are just tiny little bits.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Value tinned toms, they may be cheap, but you are paying for water.

Not Sainsbury's Basics, I find then better than Napolina, but each too their own

Don't know about the rest of the range as I wouldn't risk anything else after the Sainsbury's Basics Cornish Pasty, which appeared to be mostly 'gone off' tasting gristle, I had to clean my teeth very thoroughly to get rid of the taste, and that was from the one mouthful which I spat out very quickly.

Tesco Value choc spread is fine
Tesco Value toilet rolls are ok (only if you are not used to the posh stuff though)
Tesco value tinned toms, beans, spag, lasagne sheets, pasta twirls, sweetcorn, cucumbers, carrots, kitchen towels are fine.
Tesco value bio wash powder washes ok (i can't use perfumed as i'm allergic)

I'll keep thinking what other things i use and come back to you....i like this thread

Ingredients in Tesco Value tinned tomatoes

Tomato (60%), Tomato Juice, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid).

    It's tomato juice not water;)

They did a test on market kitchen this week, all the value toms are mainly water.

    Complete waste of money

Well I use Lakeland's washballs and the eco balls and wouldn't go back to washing powder. I also use value tinned tomatoes.

I avoid value frozen peas, the last time I tried them they were like bullets. Perhaps they have improved though?

I agree I only bought value peas once and they were awful. That was a while ago though.

I always buy value tinned toms and find them just as good as any other.

Value chocolate and yoghurts aren't great, edible but nothing like the real thing.
