Don't Waste Your Money...

Hello,
As a companion to my "I'd like to recommend..." thread, I thought a "Don't Waste Your Money..." would also be useful to let others know what Old Style or low price/own brand products or ideas aren't worth buying or trying. Don't let your mistake be a complete waste!
So, to kick off - I tried Lakeland's Wash-It Laundry Ball. Now, I love Lakeland, but this was rubbish. I might as well have used nothing at all. Oh well, you live & learn!

Ingredients in Tesco Value tinned tomatoes
Tomato (60%), Tomato Juice, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid).
It's tomato juice not water;)0 -
Don't waste your money on branded tinned toms (
) and branded lasagne sheets. Value are perfect
Plus 'Flash All in One' - Stardrops does it all too and has done for years!

I always use value tomatoes. I have Napolina ones in stock at the moment due to an offer at ASDA. They are 70% tomato. Hardly justifies the cost difference. Especially as you would be reducing the tomatoes if making a bolognaise anyway.0

tesco value baby wipes, absolute rubbish, tiny thin sheets - neither use nor ornament.0

That Loreal stuff thats supposed to fill your wrinkles and plump your lips.
What a waste of a tenner, i was alwsy sceptical till someone told me her sister used it and it worked a treat. I really shuldn't have listenedmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
See, i'd say the cheap jarred curry sauce from Asda (4p ish) as I found it far too watery and too sweet, but a lot of people seem to love it!
Also, Asda Smartprice yogurts have a strange gluey consistency and I ended up throwing them away. I'll stick to my french set ones from now on.Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

Well I use Lakeland's washballs and the eco balls and wouldn't go back to washing powder. I also use value tinned tomatoes.
I avoid value frozen peas, the last time I tried them they were like bullets. Perhaps they have improved though?0
