amazing virgin wines sale

Mine was delivered by City Link.
On the saga of using your Egg card I just spent 15 minutes on the phone with Egg. I ordered on 30/12 but the charge doesn't show on the card until the 6/1. The transaction actually states VIRGIN WINES EGG NORWICH so maybe it does record if you clicked through EGG otherwise why would the word EGG show?
Anyway, spoke to a nice guy called Chris who said that I am only due to get 10% as the transaction shows up in January but he would add a manual 10% back onto my card. This will all show on my next statement. So My original wine order of £30.89 becomes £24.71 for 13 bottles. £1.90/each Hic.... ;D0 -
oh, you don't have to click thru, it's just using your egg card that does it! (at least thats what a custard support guy told me from egg)
Bleughbleugh, I understand you have to click the link. I actually DID link the link, but they wont give me the rebate, because they say I didn't, even though it's on my statement that I paid for the Virgin case with my EGG card!I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.0 -
Right got this to work - I think you need to come at afresh - I was clicking on my own affiliate link, which might explain some of the problems people are having with Egg which is a glorified affiliate link?
Anyway I got a case for £27.90 (inc delivery) - its a dodgy use of the powergen voucher because the total order value isn't over £50 - maybe the three expensive bottles 'fools' the system?
Cheers to the OP (I hope my affiliate cookie gets triggered!).0 -
Many thanks for the future bad heads

I managed to find two seperate wines on a special from £9.99 down to a pound.I ended up with £120 worth of wine for £21 :P0 -

Was this a recent order? I'm trying to find some cheaper wine but can't see much else other than the £1 specials limited to 3 per order. What was the name of the other specials billydwarf?

Go for it. Have just saved £126 on a case using the £1 offer and the £25 voucher (putting in the code and password does work).
1 bottle(s) of Churchaven Groenkloof Pinotage 2003
2 bottle(s) of Trentham Estate Pinot Noir 01/02
3 bottle(s) of Langhorne Creek Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2001
4 bottle(s) of Rare Print Series Eden Valley Chardonnay 2002
1 bottle(s) of Cave de Lugny Bourgogne Blanc 'Vieilles Vignes' 02/03
1 bottle(s) of Cantine Foraci Inzolia Chardonnay 2003
Subtotal = £56.91
Delivery = £4.99
Account Balance = £25.00
AMOUNT CHARGED = £36.90
The Rare Print Series Eden Valley Chardonnay 2002
was a snip too - £5.99 instead of £11.99.
Also got a £20 voucher because I had "spent" over £50.
Plus in the confirming email - another £20 voucher for somebody else to use with a first order (another screen name and alternative credit card). ;D0 -
After ordering a case in my name I went in the next night and ordered one in hubby's name. Had to use a different email address (hubby's work). Both cases arrived today and are now overflowing our wine rack. Total cost £47 for 24 bottles rrping at around £200 - actually lost count of the savings when I got to that point. Super service, ordered 4th and 5th and both arrived today!0
