The wine is still there, it's just a bit hidden - from the home page, click on the "Special Offers" button... the Langhorne £1-a-bottle is the third wine from the bottom of the page.

So it is! Thanks for that, second order now placed :D

Can't help you with the wine rack though... sorry.

Maybe you will just need to drink the wine instead of storing it... ;)

Great offer. I've got 13 bottles heading my way for 27 quid.

This offer can work out VERY cheap:
you can get six £1 bottles
6 other bottles at say £6 each
    £5 quid for postage

£25 quid discount for using voucher code
    20% rebate on egg card
check out other wine retailers for cheaper prices. I found the McGuigan 50p a bottle cheaper on yorkwines.co.uk. Virgin Wines should refund me 50p a bottle when I tell them.

They also promise a refund for any wines I don't like - if you just order one bottle off the type you plan to get a refund on then you don't need to return anything to them.

By my calculations if you claim not to like two bottles and get the price match on four bottles the total price for 12 bottles (all of which you keep) would be £8. You'd then get a rebate on your Egg card of £4.40. So total expenditure of £3.60. That's 30p a bottle!!!
    Nice to save.

I am sure that I read that the 20% egg rebate doesn't work with any other offer including vouchers - might be worth double checking.

they will happily change your disliked bottles for a full case of another bottle(s), i once drank three bottles and sent them back, they re-sent a full case, so £15 worth of free wines!

on the point of delivery, if it states order has left warehouse today, you should receive tomorrow.
  • Wheres that 2nd 1 pound a bottle stuff - I've gone to Special offers - 3rd up is not on offer - I'm running Firefox as browser .,,, ?

    Thanks,

    Mark

Close your browser with virgin wines on it, delete your cookies, then go to the homepage. There are three main links, the special offers one on the right is the one you want - when the website knows who you are then it doesn't come up with that one.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tip. Just ordered 13 bottles for £28.48. I've just checked the account and there is a £20 credit valid till end of Feb.

And we were supposed to be cutting back on the alcohol in the New Year. Never mind we'll try again next year!!!
