VirginWines are brilliant, I've used them a  few times


BUT concerning EGG cards:
I also used the link to Virgin wines from EGG for 20% off on a case I bought early in December and they still haven't credited me with this rebate (which they say is immediate) so, after a few phones calls they are adamant I won't get my rebate "because I didn't click the link in my Egg account"
BUT I DID!!
Something technical must have happened their end or virgins, but, my account shows I bought a case of virgin wine and they can see I paid for it through my Egg card, but they refuse to pay me the 20 % rebate.
They sent me a letter and asked me to call them to discuss it, but they just told me same thing. Supervisor would not credit me with 20%

I wrote to Virginwines to explain that EGG are advertising a link that may not work properly on all occasions, waiting for their reply.

Haven't received mine yet, if it isn't delivered by tomorrow morning I qualify for a refund of the delivery charge!!

I wasn't planning to buy wine - but when I had a look and managed to get £90-worth for £15.93 I could hardly refuse!

I noticed that the £1 wines say '3 per order' so you can order them again - except when I tried to find the Langhorne so that I could use my £20 off voucher it seems to have disappeared...

Likewise, but my credit card has just received two orders of £30 each. £25 off the first order thanks to the code in this forum, and £20 off the second order thanks to the "Premium Service" offer. Talk about an impulse buy!

The wine is still there, it's just a bit hidden - from the home page, click on the "Special Offers" button... the Langhorne £1-a-bottle is the third wine from the bottom of the page.


Hmmm... 25 bottles of wine are now en route to my doorstep... anyone know any discount codes for an Ikea wine rack? ;D

It says on the site that they aim to deliver within 2 working days but that their delivery promise is 7 days, no mention of working days in that part. I've e-mailed them to see whats going on and I've just checked the order status and I see that it's only just been updated to 'Order has left warehouse'!!

Maybe tomorrow... ;D
