I'm shaking uncontrollably.
With excitement?! (I hope!)
Sounds like a super busy weekend Dinah! Hopefully you'll get the engagement thing-a-majig sorted this weekend, that software Poolie sent you looks intense! I'm with you on the skint factor though, me and OH are having to change our plans with me not getting paid. Thankfully the cinema is 'free' and if needs must we'll just spend it there!
I'm paying for the lodge all on my Billio! OH is covering petrol, food ect while we're there so it's kind of like out Christmas presents to each other. It's going on my credit card which is interest free until July but I'd just rather pay it off in one big chunk.0 -

Ah fair enough, I'd rather pay for things upfront than be paying for the stuff when there. Just so long as you don't get there and he wants to stay in eating supernoodles rather and you don't ever get to go outDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Not much in the way of weekend plans here, might see what the weather's like for a walk. Am meeting a friend for drinkies tonight, but looking at the weather it's tempting just to drive and not drink! Was going to go and put a bit of money in the bank towards my savings but I'm not going out in that!
Was having a big chocolate craving so have dug out an Options sachet from my desk drawer, not quite the same but hopefully might work! Don't thin I'm going to have lost anything this week, I've been lazy on the gym.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I have chocolate cravings too Tete, I think its the cold and the rain. I always put on weight over winter. I do have some options hot chocolate, but also some chocolate coated apricots or chocolate raisins..... think I'm gonna go for the fruit!
My car is leaking internally again! Just drove to the supermarket to get some money out to put towards the flowers for my boss as she is hosting a bbq for us all tonight, and my drivers seat is wringing. And yet I still feel loyalty towards my Bu.
Also went to the supermarket as my colleagues had said there was a great cookware sale on some stoneware. Got 3 lovely duck egg blue casserole dishes, great for doing a roast or caserolle or pasta or anything in, and reduced down to £1.49. 2 are for our first house, and one is for mum I think. I got 3 bits of clip n lock style tupperware reduced too for our first house, to go in the shed ready so we don't have to buy it at once. The dishes were the best deal though - anywhere else they would be at least £20!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

The weather isn't too bad here, just windy. Got a bbq at my friends Dads in Southampton tomorrow so hoping for nice weather.
That sounds like some great bargains Dinah. is great building up stuff like that as does add a lot of expense when you first move in somewhere0 -

Oh no not another spreadsheet that needs designing.
At least it could have some pretty graphs in different colours for comparisons.0 -
A house isn't really numeric though. We're going to hold out for a suitable house at the right price in Bishopton or Sadberge or similar first off, and if in 6 months nothing is coming up, we'll go look at onces in Stockton and hope to be able to move in 5 years before any kids start nursery.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

learn to use that software off Poolie.
I am sure you two will have this licked in about 30 minutes. Best to have a dry run and a play before you do it for real (trust me I made the mistake and had to start again a couple of times at the beginning). Just remember to make a backup of the database file.
To make a backup all you do it go to the location where you installed the program and copy (NOT MOVE!) the database file to another location (you might want consider renaming it so it has a date at the end so you know when it was taken). I would do it once a week if you have been busy otherwise every 2 week should be fine.
If you need any help just email or PM me. I am always around (unless sleeping for a nightshift - you might get responses at 3 or 4am in that case).0 -
Sounds like a great deal on the cookware Dinah! I love duck egg blue too, loads of our kitchenware is that colour!
I think with the houses you have to get inside them to know if they're right or not, you need the 'feeling'! When my parents bought the house I grew up in my Dad didn't even look around, he just sat in the living room and said 'This is it!'
I'm sooooo glad it's Friday and my nightmare week is over! I'm so tired, I've barely slept this week and it's finally caught up with me! Having a quiet weekend since we spent far too much last week, I think Mum wants to go out tomorrow afternoon with me- I may have to try to get some treats out of her! My Dad's in China right now on a business trip and he e-mailed my Mum the other day saying how much he misses her and that he's never going away without her again... awww! He also said he's sick of Chinese food! LOL!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I am glad it is Friday as well. Hasn't been the most exciting week. On the plus side we have got someone coming to our team to replace the girl who left so hopefully we can share out some of the boring, rubbish jobs more.
I think there is definitely a feeling with a house too, sure you will know when you have the right one.0
