Morning!! (Or kind of nearly afternoon?!)

My bank says I got paid this morning, funny cause I haven't really seen a penny of it! After all the direct debits, board ect I've gone from £240 to £50 within minutes  Still, it's way more than I actually need for the week - just need £5 for petrol.

I know the feeling Cinny, OH got paid today (finally - after the mess up with his transfer) and the bank is looking pretty empty already. Paid our rent to his mum and dad and two direct debits going out this morning aswell. Im just glad he gets paid weekly! I dont think i would be very good at monthly budgeting

Saw this today in an email. Thought it was interesting. Can only be a good thing I think. 5% is not much for people to save up.

It does. I'm really glad we went for the J 1/2 rather than J though. I've got to be honest, I'm really glad to be wearing it but for £1.5k it really seems like it ought to do more than just be pretty!

God i dont know whether to laugh or cry. I've just sat here for about half an hour thinking how bad the rain is, before i realised that the skylight windows in our bedroom were open. Our bed is absolutly soaking, theres no way its going to be dry by tonight!!

Oh goodness Flower, what a nightmare! Have you got big heaters you can blast at the bed to dry it? Or sit there with a hairdryer!

Yay to getting the ring! I understand the feeling that it's a lot of money to just sit there and look nice but you'll wear it forever so if you cost it by wear it works out as very good value! That said, if I had that much money on my hand I'd be paranoid, mine was 1/3 of the price and I'm quite happy with that as I'd be a wreck having any more money on my finger! LOL!

Had a manic day, it was the 'Go Live' day in my new department and what could go wrong did go wrong; it's amazing how many people we got crammed into our teeny office to trying to do about 30 different things at once, I disappeared a fair bit to make coffee and 'run upstairs for some work related stuff' to get away from it all! I'm looking forward to having Monday off! Although it'll be lost in Hangover Land as we're going to a cocktail party on Sunday!

What's everyone else doing this weekend?

Oooh, by the way, loved loved loved all of the Alfred Angelo dresses! Soooo pretty!
