How attached to her is he?

He's not at all. They used to be good friends but her behaviour has changed his opinion completely and he has nothing to do with her and has no respect for her anymore. Think he thinks if we just carry on ignoring it she'll stop it and suddenly be all nice - which quite obviously isnt going to happen.
I get on well with his uncle so i will definatly speak to him and see what he suggests. Definatly need to sit OH down though and talk about it because its all aimed at me and puts me in a bad mood when i get these texts and when she does start it does affect mine and OHs relationship. Gonna have to get this one sorted once and for all.

:D I know, I need to plan far ahead so I can budget now for things that are coming up. Not quite at the 20-bank-accounts-stage a la Dinah and NIM though!

Getting rid of them now though, just having one saver and a spreadsheet for how much of it is for which fund!

Show off ;) Given me a kick up the bum actually as I need to do this myself! Have to budget in savings for Christmas, and could really do with starting to keep my eyes peeled for things on offer.

Same here! OH is still dreaming about having a PS3 and i didnt get it for him for his birthday in the end as we went on holiday instead, would really like to get it for him for christmas. May work out how much i would need to save a week from now until christmas for it.

ETA works out about £19 a week, very do able, but then i feel like i should be putting that towards the debts!

If you find it easy saving £19 per week before Christmas and don't really miss the money, then afterwards it CAN go off the debt! :)

I could comfortably save that much aswell as making extra payments on the debts. So i suppose it would be better to do that rather than panic closer to the time that i havent got any money to buy him anything and put it on the credit cards. I cant believe i am actually thinking about this already and budgeting this far in advance! Thank you for reminding me!

I'd love an Xbox 360 as there are finally games coming out for it that I like, and I have friends who have them also so can speak to friends back home too.

But compare it to the wedding and having my own home and theres no contest...Its got to be the XBOX ;)
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

I know what I'm getting NIM, although how to get money for pressies out of a joint account baffles me!
