It's only about 10 miles away from my parents.

I feel like it's something a bit too fab to miss out on though, so I'm going to show it too my Brother tonight. And my cousin if I see him before I go home. If it's something they are interested in we'll have to book a reviewing.

CMD - I'm sorry, I don't know what to suggest. If you don't go, although it might seem like the kinder thing to do she might be hurt you didn't go. I mean, it's a seriously hard thing to choose. Have you spoken to her since it happened? I can only suggest you go with your gut feeling on this.

That looks like a great venue- beautiful!

Sorry CMD- what a horrible situation. Could you maybe talk to her or a mutual friend about what to do?

CMD - that is a hard one. If it had been the pther way round would you want your cousin to come? Don't mean to make you think of something dreadful happening but might help you think if it is the right thing to do.

Cinny - leaving home is hard but you get used to it. I went to uni at 18 so was eased into real life.
  • CMD - my instinct would be that the funeral of a baby, especially an unborn one, is a very personal thing to the parents, possibly granparents and very possibly aunts and uncles. If it was my baby I wouldn't want a lot of people there or a fuss, no-one 'knew' the baby as such and I don't really think there's any real need for anyone else to say goodbye. I hope I don't sound insensitive there, that's just how I think I would feel. You can support her in other ways x

I left at 18 and couldn't wait to, moved back at 24 and din't want to and now can't wait to leave again!

I think it's really hard for young people not only to get on the property ladder but to stand on their own two feet, and this seems like a really easy way for you (Cinny) to make the first step ... Does it need work doing? Maybe you could stay at home til it's ready ... what sort of timescale would that be?

I moved out at 18, was happy to, moved back at 23, and don't want to go again! NIMs dad was saying last night that as soon as the market starts to rise again we should buy, but we don't have a deposit, so we can't. I don't really want to either although I know fiancially if it keeps rising we need to do it sooner rather than later.

Does anyone know when the stamp duty holiday ends?

Have written one really in depth review on dooyoo on each account, hoping for a crown but since i didnt get a crown for my 4000 word masterpiece on world of warcraft i don't have much hope! I can't see why people put so much effort into them when they never get crowns.

I suppose staying at home while we did the work would be good, ease me into the idea that I'm moving out! Will have to talk it over with my Parents ect tonight, the money is there and it's stupid not to look into it more. I'll keep you posted!

Thats kind of my ideal at the moment Cinny, NIMs dad lends us the deposit money, we find a shack and spend 6 months making it a palace, perfect! Not sure when we'd have time though - NIM is kinda scared by the amount of work the ou takes!

I only have 2 but I like to put a bit of effort in anyway. It annoys me a bit when you click on someone's profile and you see that every one of their reviews has a crown, especially when they're all really long self-indulgent rambles. I think the key is exposure, you need to get loads of people to read and then hopefully lots of nominations. The ones I got crowns for had headings as well and I think they like that, but I don't ... maybe I'm cutting my nose off to spite my face there!
