My friend lost her baby at the begining of this year and she is now pregnant again (the one who is about the same as you in weeks). It was really upsetting for her but she managed to pull through and hopefully things will all go right this time. Is good to know your cousin has such a caring family who will look after her.0

Not without loosing the interest Wendz. And its not worth it to us. We're just about balancing at the moment, we'll be okay if we can get the debts paid off in the next month or so by selling the second car, car booting, claiming back the vet fees etc. Then while we'd be brining in less in the way of extra income, we'd also have less going out for car costs, NIMs raise comes in soon, and hopefully we'll still have a bit of extra income by way of the books I need to list, I sold a book half an hour ago, will clear £4 profit from it, and its a 1970s travel book on Amsterdam - I'm staggered it sold!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

How about your mobile phones? Are you both on contract?0

Yep. The reason I allow £30 a month is while I think NIMs is £20 and mine is £25, he always has extra on his bill due to calling irish people. I still haven't got my bill through from when I was in Ireland, scared of that one.
Going to go raid the charity shop see if they have more patterns in yet TeteDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Some people will buy the weirdest things! Well done on the sale.
Managed to get another DooYoo review out of my little fingers! Only got about 3 things left to review, almost finished my book so I'll be able to add that to the list once I'm done.
Talking of being on too tight a budget I need to re think mine. Only going to have £10 for this week the way things are going so I need to work some things out.0 -
When are they up for renewal, any chance of lowering them. I got mine down to £15 a month and got more texts, calls. Obviously if you are calling Ireland or from ireland then this might not make much difference but every little helps.0

My 'to dooyoo' list keeps on growing, only done one review so far today, but will try to get a few more out this afternoon.
I'm thinking I might suggest to NIM we do the spends a bit differently. Allocate a fund for 'stuff for new house', and a fund for 'meals and treats together', then give me a spends budget in cash, as I am awful for spending online on Amazon and etsy and if our budget is being cut back I might well blow it. I have a horrible feeling I bought things on amazon this month that only just got charged for, and has taken us way over budget.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Mine is due for renewal now so going to try to get it down a bit, NIMs is new, so no chance on that one for 18 months.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I hate that feeling of waiting for a bill, but I hate the feeling of seeing your phone bill is 3x what it should be an ounce more. Hope it isn't too bad for you!
Right, lowered my savings target to take some pressure off! I know full well I won't meet it anyways because of not getting the money from OH until Oct (he isn't too keen on banks transfers) so at least this is attainable now. Can rework my budget while I'm watching movies with my mum this afternoon.
ETA: My dooyoo list is in my head so I'm glad its not too long otherwise I'd forget! Tried doing a review on Polony yesterday though, I think I'm really grasping at straws for ideas!
Might be an idea to do the cash budget thing. Me and OH work in cash now because we always over spend on cards no matter how hard we try, it's cut our spending quite a bit and I've managed to start coin jars again which is a neat little bonus.0 -
Ooh I forgot to tell you my little bit of money news! I was on quidco last week and the lottery were giving £5 cashback when you buy a £1.50 ticket for the euromillions, so I clicked through only to find that you can only transfer a minimum of £5 into your online lottery account. But I had it in my head then so I did it, didn't win the £85m but DID win £5 on a little game thing last night and still have £1.50 left to have another go on the euromillions!
So I'm £5 up in the end, with 2 free goes on the lottery.
Payday tomorrow for me and can't come soon enough! Going to sit this afternoon and work out a budget for the month, gonna be another expensive one - they all seem to be these days!
Charity shops are all at the other end of town Dinah as is Boyes, might just go into town at the weekend and have a look insteadWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0
