OK OK . . dfh is having a laugh. Surely noone is seriously this stupid. Nice one dfh. Dickens, Thomas Hardy and Agatha Christie - that's a classic.0

I had an incident in Real Life today that we found quite tricky to deal with. Online, you can just ignore or whatever.
Sis is down for a weeks hols with my little nieces and nephew.
We are all sitting at Marina, having drink and watched the deep sea fishing boat came in. Men get off clutching bags of fish (all pleased with themselves)....and man at neighbouring table (not local, vistors) barks to everyone...''The fishing is a front, ha ha ha, they're all illegals really..it's how they get in'' then leans over fence and calls down ''Ha Ha..benefits office is this way''.
And it was soooo not funny...then he looks around waiting for laughter and applause at such a show of wit.:o
Unfortunately our benefits system is very generous and open to abuse.0 -
You are Island Annie/Dervish and I claim my 5 pounds.0

And house prices will continue to fall............0 -
anyone who thinks the recession is over and goodwill to all men will prevail is in for a big big shock..this baby is just warming up and its going to get nasty in the next five years or so..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

Isn't that similar to what a few tin foil jobs were saying in 2001/2002?
