DH said that about the queues ;) She's cool about tomorrow, thanks for asking :A She is the only person she knows who hasn't made up her mind about college, yet, so that's tomorrow's biggie :eek::eek:

Does your DS get his results tomorrow, too  DS who's in Y9 has been told that there are too many students getting results (Y10 and Y11, too) so the Y9s can't get theirs until they're back at school on 8th Sept :mad::mad:

Can someone fill me in on why there are so many Smurfs around, please  I had a bad experience with them on a German Exchange visit about 30 years ago, so may need to switch off avatars :o :rotfl:

DD2 gets her Maths result tomorrow - taken in Year 10 - new school policy:mad::mad::mad:. From her reaction she will be taking it again next year:confused:....so what was the point?

I pointed out that there is a flylady for every eventuality... Dusty said it reminded her of the smurfs  so you need to find the smurf equivalent of your flylady persona... although maybe you'll need some counselling first :rotfl:Group therapy is always available free of charge on the thread (as long as it's flying-related, obviously - in case you missed it, Pigpen's been telling us off for gossiping again :o)

Definitely off-topic, BUT one of my colleagues who is also being made redundant, and has done a fantastic job as employee rep (she's a contract manager in real life) was talking about the possibility of working somewhere like CAB once she's finished her 3 months gardening leave - can you advise as to how she should go about looking into it?

ON topic :D I've made a shopping list, and started a list of people I need to ring to get them to come and quote for work... and am still dealing with my work filing. Off to the post office now for cash and to post Jo's parcel (I've got the scales out of the garage now for Zoe, so once I have more parcel tape I'll be decluttering that in her direction, together with a whole lot of unwanted packaging!

to see avvies you need to go to user cp and choose edit options

scroll down till you allow avvies or whatever and tick the box :D

Anyone applied for a job at tesco before

    http://www.tesco-careers.com/user/custom/assets/pdf/tesco-application-form-2-updated.pdf

Have a look at page More about You.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I worked for a year at Mr S while I was at Uni. They had a similar application form & the interview consisted of another questionnaire with more of the same! They are very, very customer service oriented & I think I got the job because I considered what I would like to see & how I would like to be treated as a customer when I answered the questions.
    Good luck!!
