Good afternoon ladies! Well just had the estate wifey round. There was a fire in a warehouse this morning a couple of streets away. They are just about to demolish the remains of the building so kids are in, washing in, windows all closed! Yes theres asbestos in the building!!!! Just what we wanted to hear lol.
So kids are going to help now that they are back from school. Yup you guessed it - they are watching the telly!!! but they are quiet and behaving well so I'm not complaining!!LBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

Cake only made two layers @ 11" and one @ 8" to freeze. Need to bake another cake to get another 11" layer... I'll do it later! Kitchen is still looking OK though..
Sitting room have moved the sofa and hoovered up all the dead woodlice from underneath it and wiped the skirting behind it. Also hoovered the back of the sofa and wiped the window sill and frame, another length of skirting, the radiator and marks on the wall. Need to go and move the sofa back, then move all the furniture up to the other end of the room to finish off.

Hiya, not managed to update all day! Not since yesterday in fact...was going to post last night but was slightly hampered by OH...I'd put on some home grown runner beans to cook so that I could blend them down for the baby with some mashed potato and chicken etc. So I said to my dear OH "Please can you watch these for a little while" (response? "yes dear") whilst I trundled into the computer to have a catch up. About 10 minutes later he wanders in saying "what did you want doing with these bits out here?" meaning the beans I presume....I go out to the kitchen and hear a lovely sizzling noise. Boiling dry was not in my plans for those beans. So in the bin they went, the saucepan went in to soak. Generally not a success! And then it's just been a bit mad today! Each time I've tried to post LO has woken up screaming (teething) and has been really upset
He's just gone to sleep again about 10 minutes ago so hopefully he'll get a proper rest for a little while.
OH has had a call from the garage and they've put in a quote to the insurance company. Because they're 100% certain it'll be written off rather than fixed they've taken back the courtesy car so now I have to drive into town to pick up OH from work. He had a phone interview on Friday for a job he's just been turned down for and he didn't even get an interview for something else he's applied for. It's just so frustrating when you know that he can do the job with his hands tied behind his back and his eyes shut! grrr
I'm so sorry for anybody who's having a rough time of it at the moment. There seem to be a lot of illnesses, accidents and family problems going on. Luckily you lot are all lovely and don't mind the odd rant!
Anyway...back to flying...

No bathroom today - boo, hiss. Delivery company rang to say that they are struggling to get 26 tonne lorry into the village. What did they expect in a village? They are going to try again on Thursday with a more appropriate vehicle. Means I now only have next Tuesday to sort school shoes and lunch boxes for the boys.

Hi everyone!
I was doing so well, all DSs stuff dry on the line as we've had a lovely day. (He came back from work last night needing all his stuff washed for tonight). I thought to myself, I'll just make a cuppa, then I'll fetch it in. needless to say, we've had a downpour & it's all as wet as it was when I first put it out :mad::mad:. I got drenched fetching it in, have had to change clothes & towel hair :mad::mad:

Zara...we went to Caernarfon. We stayed in my IL's static caravan so it was free!!:j It's quite a good base for lots of days out as you're not too far from Anglesey, there's lots of nice walks and villages around Snowdonia National Park and there's lots of lovely villages to visit. We always have a day out in Beddgelert as its such a nice village and has a fab ice cream shop too!
Done a bit of flying now so here's the list:

Empty and clear out a cupboard.. Will do a kitchen cupboard I think. Not got any in the lounge to sort out.
Well its starting to look a bit better. DH should be home soon and he's taking the girls swimming while I do some more flying. I've got lots of clothes to put away and sort out and I want to do a bit of tidying in DD1's room. I've also got to pack her overnight things as she's going to the Lake District with my mum and dad for the day and night tomorrow. She's soooo excited. Not sure what she's most excited about though....staying in a hotel overnight, visiting the Beatrix Potter museum or stopping at the motorway services on the way!!!!!:rotfl:
Anyway, the swimming things aren't going to pack themselves so off I go...0
