Game offering decent trade in for new slim ps3

I got rid of my PS2 titles some time ago so not fussed about that, Game are now offering £180 trade in. Tried CEX and like the person above said they will only give £198 to spend in store, if you want cash it's only £150.0

I reckon if you have a 60GB model, you'd be better off keeping it or selling it privately. They're getting harder to get hold of, and I find the PS2 B/W compatibility worth it's weight in gold. My singstar back-catalogue would be worthless without it. lol
Unfortunately the 60GB models are more prone than any other model with the YLOD issue.

I have an 80GB (just out of warranty) and will be trading it in for the new one for only £30 more.

Might be worth calling them then as I have just been in (with my 60gb version), traded in a few old games as well and walked away with my new slim version. They are definitely doing £180 cashback at the moment but don't know when it will end. They are offering the same amount for the 80gb.
The only drawback I can see from my point of view is the 2 less USB ports but wonder if a USB hub will do the trick...0 -
on the game website it says trade in ps3 60gb or 80gb and ps3 slim is half price at £1250

Apparently they have had to increase the trade in value due to competitor offers...0
