You need a thicker skin on an internet forum Chri5! I think most people are pointing out in their own unique and witty way that they disagree with your point of view of the value of the PS3. One poster seems to have been researching quite a bit and has seen the 'fatties' getting nearly £200. That's much better than the lazy trade in route. However, you mentioned other deals, care to let us know what they were for information?

No...the whole internet is like that...not just forums.
    The fact is..you don't.
You just don't take the internet literally, as you do with real life. So whatever these "insults" or "opinions" are...they have no relevance. No meaning. Simple as.
Thats how you go on the internet.

Nail on the head. You should have just said fair enough, I thought it was a good deal instead of throwing your toys out of your pram.

The comments weren't malicious, they were tongue in cheek.

Is that an 'across the board' thing or just your local branch? I wonder if they have increased their price to counter balance it.... I'll have to give them a ring.

it was actually £160. Probably could have got more for it by putting it on ebay but mine was starting to get quite loud so having a new PS3 for an extra £90 that uses less electricity and whatever game will come bundled with it on the day is a bargain imo :p
