Hello my lovely Pad-ers!
Just popping my head round the door to report in. My FT job messed up my pay, and have reimbursed me today. And I have just been paid for a job I did freelancing work in the Summer.
So I be having the cash to pay off the First Plus arrears today (and avoid house reposession next month in court :eek::eek::eek::eek: scary beyond belief and then some)...
My PAD today is £4000.
I'm working so hard but I'm so happy and relieved I'd just had a little cry here in t'office (well I have to clean the work laptop somehow...)
I love this thread - I've made huge steps to kill off my debts thanks to all your encouragement....big kisses :A
Love Sassers
xx
So glad to hear that your house is safe.
A huge relief no doubt.0 -

Oooh this looks loads of fun! I've rounded off both my bank accounts and sent the shingle to my heavily overdrawn student account. I'm really really hoping I can pay off my overdraft while its still interest free!
Gonna try and keep up paying something every day. I'm aiming for a pound a day plus any spare pennies in the account if I use my card at all. Every little helps though!Sealed Pot Challenge #239

Hi all, pad of £4.50 today. £4 to my flooring fund and 50p to Barclaycard.
Might have to change my target card to OH's Capital One card as the car repairs are going on there. Had more bad news about it today as the water pump, timing belt and some other stuff needs replacing. That bloody car! So will be about £400 on the Capital One card once all that is done.
OH already had about £300 on the card and the apr is something like 30%. My Barclaycard is on 6.9% LOB (transferred OH's previous Cap One balance to it) so looks like future pads will be going to Capital One.
Am going to get my tiling done (flooring fund) as just need a few more things and £20 to bung to my cousin to lay them. Any money left will have to go to Capital One card.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Just to add I was able to pay £1.92 then I got so excited that I payed another £10
So that's £11.92 off my overdraft today!!Great start I think!
