That's been me for the last month Piggin - then I had a few days off and decided it wasn't worth getting chest pains for.
So I started doing yoga again and tried to give myself more balance.
Hope your stressful period is over soon xMoneytroubles wrote: »Hi I joined this thread a few weeks ago, however strayed from the site. I'm now back and more determined than ever and would like to rejoin!

Welcome back Moneytroubles! :hello:
Don't give up! As Paul says, even if it's just 1p, make a pledge that'll you'll post on here every day and we'll all keep you on the straight and narrow!;)Guys, I joined this thread thinking that PaDing was a really good idea. I still think that, but I'm not sure that I'm good at saving/paying bills this way: I know some people considered bills as PaDs but to me, I try to make PaDs something on top of my basic bills. However, I try to put as much money away at the beginning of the month in order to avoid the temptation to spend it. I think I might work better in lump sums as opposed to a little bit here and a little bit there. How do you guys do it and do you have any advice? Thanks!
Hi Inapickle :hello:
I do PAD my monthly CC payments + my extra PADS, but some don't and that's fine.
I defo got a bit over zealous the first month and left myself without anything for the end of the month to PAD.
However, you could follow the lovely AngelicMary's method. Just work out how much spare cash you should have for the month, then divide that up across the month, to PAD daily.
I have a separate bank account that I put my PADs in, then either transfer it back at the end of the month to my OD or to make extra payments to cards.
Hope that makes sense and helps a bit
The main thing is to keep coming on here every day. It definitely focuses the mind, as they are some very inspiring peeps on here!0 -

Good morning all
First of all 5 pounds to DH cap one cc -nearly under 1200 pounds now so will update sig in few days hopefully.
Very happy household today - DS1 got a job:j (it is temporary but could last for a few months). Got a call from one of the agencies he is registered with as he had contacted them all again yesterday morning and they all said they were looking for him (must admit i was a bit sceptical as i know they are very busy) and lo and behold he got a call at 4 pm yesterday to ask him to start Monday. It's a admin post at local government agency office (his security clearance only came through Thursday). He still wont have any money for a few weeks till he gets paid but it is such a relief.
Hope everyone else has a fab weekend. :APayment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0 -

Thanks macgirl. The trouble is that the stressful period is not likely to be over any time soon! I just have to keep plodding on I suppose - though I have come to the decision that the time has come to start keeping an eye out for something new, still for same employer, but something different! There are plenty of options on that score, luckily!
Anyway, today's PAD is £1.19 to Abominable AmexPigginSkint's debt free diary
