Morning PADders!
Hopeful1: Unlike your OH I have learnt NOT to be laid-back about my finances - that's what got me here in the first place! However I believe your OH has a job now? If so, mucho congrats
I'm still trying to catch up with things around here and get my bearings, so I will just say that I hope everyone finds the job/cheque/flat/B.O.G.O.F./pot 'o gold that they wish for, and a huge warm congratulations and best of luck to those expecting wee people any minute.
My PAD for today is once again a small, but perfectly formed, golden £1 coin.
Off to Cornwall for a week early tomorrow so probably won't be posting my PADs until I get back. However I will be keeping a tally, and I wish you all a fruitily frugal week!

a little three year old boy is sitting on the toilet. His mother thinks he has been in there too long, so she goes in to see what's up.
the little boy is sitting on the toilet reading a book. But about every 10 seconds or so he puts the book down, grips onto to the toilet seat with his left hand and hits himself on top of the head with his right hand.
his mother says: "billy, are you all right? You've been in here for a while. "
billy says: "i'm fine, mommy.. I just haven't gone 'doody' yet."
mother says: "ok, you can stay here a few more minutes. But, billy, why are you hitting yourself on the head?"
billy says: "works for ketchup."

Hippity-hop-hi everyone,
I've been lurking for a while now, and I've finally got round to posting. I was a bit worried about joining in, as in my first month, I didn't manage to PAD every day (got a bit enthusiastic at the start of the month) but last month I managed to pay off an extra £45 overall, so I'm well chuffed with that. So I'll be PAD-ing when I can, I hope that'll be ok.. I've developed a quite worrying habit of staring at my debt repayment spreadsheet for hours on end working out how much I could PAD and how much it will save me in interest, how long it will all take, etc, etc! Anyway, first rant over, you all seem like a really nice bunch so look forward to PADing and posting with you
.
