  • :jI just won £5 on a scratchie. I never win anything and although it's not a lot it's more than I usually win! :j

Just a £1 for me today.

  • This evening I've been removing items from my garage and flat to load my van up to the rafters.
I'm off to do a boot sale very early in the morning.
No idea what I will make from it. I will be paying £12.50 to get in as I have a larger van. I ought to take at least £50 from it so a profit of £37.50 but I am hoping for rather more. If I were to sell everything at the prices I have in mind, I could gross about £130 - £140. However, boot sales don't seem to be like that.
It's not just about tomorrow's money though. It's also about giving the garage back to the council and saving about £9.50 a week. That is still a couple of weeks away though as I need to do a lot of re-organising. My outgoings have shrunk a lot since the start of the year and I'm about to do a bit more towards it.
Unfortunately the money I make won't be going to my debts. It will be going to Paul's van's clutch fund. I reckon that if I pay as much as I can in cash, it will be less strain on the card (clutch being changed next Tuesday). In fact, if my cheques clear in time, there is a chance that I may not need to use credit at all. Here's hoping.
