    Hi All!

    I'm very lucky today. :)

My Mum emailed me to say that she and my Dad have been thinking and they only want one more payment of 50 quid from me towards the debt I owe them and then we're even! It's a 'gift' to me to allow me to concentrate on paying back debt that has interest applied to it.

This wipes 600 quid of my debt!

I don't feel quite right accepting so I offered to simply put the debt 'on hold' and then pay back later, but they said they have already made their mind up about it.

It's soo nice of them, I could cry!

So, I'm off to update my signature! :)

    Have a Happy Monday all!

    Thats great news! :T

  • Hi there happy Monday!!!

Great news Euro, What a nice Mummy and Daddy you have.

Mac girl, if you need a new car, you need one, not much you can do about it, I tend to try not to stress about the things I need and concentrate on the wants that I waste my money on.

Get the best you can afford, and we will all set up that pyramid sytem and I promise you can go second!!:D

I really love everyone's attitude on this thread, your all so positive its really infectious and is helping me so so much!!!

Im even starting to be positive for other people, see above.:D

Well Jo just £4.49 today but thats all cool its coming down nicely.

Prob would of been more but my other half fell over in Tesco's when we were doing the food shopping and before this I was being so focused on getting our shop below £40 and after I had made sure she and my 3 year old who she was holding where ok, going beserk at the manager asking why they had the contents of the river chelmer in the chiller aisle and two poxy cones pushed right to the side of the aisle to warn people and having a go at some snooty shop assistant who was being so rude about my little boy having an accident in aisle 8 i just lost track and ended up spending well over £50.!!!!!!. All ok though.

Major butterflys by the way, baby will be here Friday week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi all
£37.20 for me today - another 1% paid off. I'm not sure who it was who broke their debt down this way - there was someone who had a little chart and coloured in a box everytime they achieved one of their chunks - its a great way of concentrating the mind. Each 1% is roughly £40 so every time I'm tempted to spend a tenner or whatever I keep thinking that's a quarter of the 1% - my mind is constantly occupied doing complicated percentages and fractions!!

Hypno is the coloured square Queen - well done on another 1% :j
