Sainsburys suspected tempering of recruitment website

Someone I know, who works for Sainsbury told me about this problem, so just a word of warning to those who have used this website recently to apply for a job. It is suspected that hackers have gained access and are diverting legitimate applications, so that only a certain minority group of the comunity are put forward for interviews. My advice to anyone applying to Sainsburys for a job. Phone head office to check whether your application has been received on line and is being dealt with!

Sainsburys should be investigating to see whether everything is above board, but it does not look like they are doing anything about it!!

Sorry but dont believe it, i recently applied for a job recently and didnt call head office as they had received my application and passed it to the relevant store

and so is trying to get everyone else to phone up head office and annoy them,

if nothing is being done about this supposed hack then maybe "this person you know" should whistleblow them to the authorities. willfully allowing information to be intercepted that way I'm sure will be frowned upon.
