Is the hyperlink change a glitch or a new way of doing things?
Instead of 2 windows - one for text to be shown and another one for the URL - you now only get the URL one. So only the actual URL shows as the link. I know some people like to see where they are going (!) and it will cut down on the number of spoof links, but it just looks a bit untidy."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -
I quite often click onto the site via my history on IE- its much better now as the title of the thread is there rather than just 'forum 39' .Thanks0

I like the fact that each page now has 20 posts on it, rather than 10...
but now I'm reading right the way through threads which are twice as long!!!!!!!!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

i always use my aol browser for everything but now ehen i sign in on the chat forum ..it goes through confirming i've logged in ... but i'm not.
if i then go in through internet explorer ..everything works fine .. as now.
STILL ... got the situation of "300 recent posts" still only shoeing by post heading not thread detail.
That is EXACTLY the same for me on AOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But i have found that if i tick the box saying i want to stay logged in, its works!:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knickers:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:0 -
I tried all 3 combinations of the quick reply box but they all seem broken, some DHTML/JS error I guess
I agree that the thanks button should be bought back, it was helpful in finding really useful posts in new forums too - as there's a lot on here to explore. Plus it's easy to say thanks for somebody taking the time and effort to help someone out. A world without thanks is a sad place indeed0 -
