Thankyou edinburghlass, have now posted in CC. I am inclined to agree with you because although we do not have the debt out there anymore, the potential to take it up again is still there. Question is now how long will it take to show as closed on our credit file from closure. Guess I will take this question to the cc board as well.

Hi Martin, please could you do a piece on itv or radio 2 regarding owning your home and the government taking it to pay for care home fees if and when the time comes, on Working Lunch on BBC2 the other day they said trusts would not be upheld in retrospect (a friend of mine has done this with a financiers advice!!) and you will be asked not do you own a home now, but have you ever owned a home? Whereas i agree that this thread started off as a bit of fun, its gone wayyyy off topic. Most questions that have been asked can actually be asked on more relevent parts of the board and it must be said, that Martin doesnt actually answer questions directly on the boards. As this board is for Martins Appearances, and his appearances only. I am locking the thread.
