:)Hi Martin
I'm quite new to this great site, so forgive me if this has been asked already
"are you ever going to do your own series on saving money, or helping families manage their money better"? I think this would be such a great programme I know Alvin Hall has done similar but I am talking about "regular 2.4 children" families on average earnings!
Is there anything in the pipeline? and if not, why not?
I am, sure all the fellow posters on this site would be greatly interested in this too!
Thanks and may I wish everyone a happy, healthy and peacful new year

Can someone clarify - when you say you saw me on tv - do you mean today (wed) - site numbers were up so im trying to work out why
PS as for series - i wish - i've done all the trying possible - but tv commissioning editors seem to not want me. They prefer something with 'conflict' to actually 'solving' problems!Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Hi Martin
Didn't see you on the telly (I don't have a telly!!), but think that your website numbers are up for the following reasons:
-lots of people received your book for Christmas and now have time to look at your website
-lots of people are off work and so have time to look at your website (and people at work are probably having a sneaky surf too)
-views to the site seemed to drop on Christmas Day (was home alone as got snowed in, and don't have a telly just had internet for entertainment that's how I know it was quiet), so maybe it was just the difference between the drop in traffic on the 25th and everyone now doing a bit of catching up.
You've probably thought of all that already though.
Sorry, I've never seen you on the box, but I do catch you on Radio 2 if I am in the car at the time - I go the long route when you're on.0 -
:)Thanx for the reply Martin! What a shame they won't listen to their viewers I mean you only need to look at the popularity of this site to realise that such a show would be received well
They did the "Big Challenge" which was reducing weight and promoting fitness etc. How refreshing it would be to have a "Big Money Saving Challenge" ;D
Sure you probably have done this anyway, but have you considered approaching the UKTV channels? i.e UK Style? And is there anything we can do to help you get a show on the screen?
You are most welcome to come and sort out my family finances any day
Come on Martin, make it your resolution to get this up and running, I know you can do it!!February Grocery Challenge £250.00

I believe that Jeremy was presenting the top highlights from 2004. Jeremy said that a lot of listeners had voted for you.

Well I heard you on Five Live this morning and I thought it was disgraceful the way that "interviewer" kept mocking and interrupting you. I don't know how you didn't put your fist down his throat!>:(
He gave you a couple of 30-second slots, with so much waffle in between that you must have been wondering why you were wasting your valuable time!
I wanted you to cover so much more than just mortgages and credit cards, neither of which apply to me. Your points about (reasons for not) buying things in the sales were excellent though, and I hope the listeners managed to take them on board.
Keep up the good work. More, more...I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
