If you see a donkey sobbing her heart out on Blackpool Pleasure Beach, you will know its me.
  • I vote that we start a special sanctuary for poor, mistreated donkeys who've had COMPLETELY LEGITIMATE marriage proposals rejected by handsome broadcaster-journalists! LOL ;):D

  • Martin, there just aren't the financial incentives for getting married now - or are there?

I can't remember - been married too long. Oh how rich I would be if I was a single girl again........there again, why couldn't I meet like minded MSEers?

Getting married doesnt have to cost a bomb - our "big" day cost about £2,000 all in, which isnt bad these days. :)

I just pop in now and then.... :)

I think £2000 is loads of money, Its a special day between 2 people. I would have given it to charity (if I had it!) and gone somewhere quiet and spiritual and enjoy the special day with my husband to be. No mad relations, no party crashers, no sit down meal for 200 people you don`t even know that well and certainly no paying off for your wedding for the first few years of your married life. Fancy it Martin, lol.

    Hello Martin.

Did you get anywhere with the 11p jeans fiasco?
  • Dear Martin,
I am a self employed professional decorator with my own business, I just need straight forward Public Liability Insurance for myself. Please can you advise me where I can get the best quote from?

    Yours sincerely,
    Griffin.
