Are merecedes drivers the worst at parking?

i wonder how they would feel if they knew you had posted their car on here without blanking out the reg number.
And yes, i agree that its not completly right what they have done.....BUT, if the carpark is NOT full, then who really cares. I mean honestly! They are just protecting their car from being marked by, well, probably the people in the people carrier.
Here's the senario. Mum parks badly at an angle in space (as in picture). No-one else can park next to them as they are at an angle. Someone eventually squeezes in. However, when the mum comes back and puts the kids into the baby chair in the back seat....oops, her large a**e slams her door into the car next too it. "oh well she say" and calmy drives off leaving a nice scratch/dent in the other persons car.
Have seen it soooo many times and THAT really is something to shout about.0 -
Well said Mr Yorke
I agree
I have two cars & both have car park damage
If I had the guts I would park like it too but I was bought up to be typically british & do the right thing,Im the muppet whos in and out three times lining it up perfectly,to come back & find myself climbing in through the passenger door cause a chelsea tractor is so close I cant open my driver door it happened this week bloody annoying.
The other ones are those with tyre cages on the rear door, they seem to use these instead of parking sensors or mirrors CRUNCH hmm just the right height to dent your boot perfectly"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."
All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.0 -
Personally i would park like this when, and only when im by myself with the wee man (8weeks) and all the parent & child spaces are full (and youve just seen two 20 something people park in them with NO child!!!!)
Its the only way i can get the car seat out with 1. half killing the wean (exageration i know) or 2. damaging someone elses car.
And lastly in a normal parent and child space you can put the weans buggy at the side of the car without fear of it getting hit by anything. Normal space youd need to put it at the back of the car - so not a safe option!!0 -
All the debate about disabled and parent & toddler spacers wouldn't matter a jot to this guy.

Posting a photo on a public forum of someone's numberplate - not cool. Do you have owner's permission?Oh come on, don't be silly.
It's the internet - it's not real!0 -
Last time I was searching for a space in a packed multi-storey and couldn't park because some selfish idiot had parked like this, I left my car on the top floor, walked down and stuck a rude note on his windscreen. Amazes me how some people think they're above the rules.0

I would be outraged if anyone posted a picture of my car showing the number plate on a a public forum. It won't happen as I know how to park.
Meanwhile, a good way to avoid getting your car scratched in a supermarket car park is to shop online...........Genie

When I parked at a Rail Station last year, there were no available spaces but a few cars had taken up double spaces like the one in the OP's post.
There were three of us in my motor so we just put our hands under the bumpers and wheel arches of one car and bounced it into one space - problem solved!0 -

Brilliant, just brilliant!! Imagine the driver's face when they returned and tried to work out what had happened!0 -

Poor judgement by the idiot that took two spaces to park their car more like!
Nothing is more annoying than people who can't park OR think they have the god given right to more space than anyone else!My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to sayIgnore......check!0
