Companies in Default/FSCS Claims - Picture, London Scottish, Twopart

I have just rang the FSCS to see if my cheque has been sent out. They have told me that it is still waiting to be processed and that I would receive it soon but could not tell me when:mad:

I told them that I was told I would receive it this week and he asked me how much it was for:mad:

Does anyone know what they are doing at the FSCS

Its so annoying when that happens isn't it?

And he asked you how much it was for??? not heard of that one before:(.

I would give them another call tomorrow and hopefully you will get to speak to someone else who will know more on this for you.
I do hope so, better still if you received your cheque by tomorrow.

They do their cheque runs on a Thursday and post them out on a Friday apparently. This is what I was told and we did in fact, recieve ours on the Saturday.

I can't remember when we received ours now lol think it was posted on a Wednesday and we received it on a Friday, that was before xmas though.:j;)XX

I have rang the FSCS this morning and they are sending the cheque out today.

They say we are getting all the ppi back which was £8732.50 + about £600 interest.

Don't know if these figures sound right

And they will send you a written breakdown to go with it to explain how this was calculated, check it when it comes through.

rang again for an update - left in two weeks - so not like me to be so patient!! lol

Last I was told was it was wih Deloittes and they were waiting for a query to be answered by the fscs and the fscs confirmed they had responded.

I ring today and apparently still with Deloittes but the fscs cannot see anything on the file to give me any information. This is really frustrating now. They are meant to be calling me back we shall see if that happens...

This sounds like the usual with both Deloittes and the FSCS.
I would in my opinion contact them again early next week, keep chasing is best.
