Arrrrr , just read back, it is ONLY the interest on the part of the PPI repayment they pay back so you would need to breakdown the PPI part of the repayment between interest and capital. Going to do it now chickpee

Marshallka you were more or less correct on mine, with the info I gave you, don't think you have been any closer:A

Chickpee, as far as I am aware , as it is a single premium the Insurance has just been added to the loan. We would only be refunded on the interest we have been charged on the PPi amount. We are not entitled to any of premiums back as we have been give the whole of the PPI amount back anyway
Feel free to correct me if I am wrong guys.;)
You are correct busbyh, with the FSCS you get the interest back that you paid on the PPI repayments and not the capital as they are redressing ALL the capital anyway.;)

    chickpee its here

    PPI 8732.50
    Interest on PPI to date being 39.95 x 54 months = 2157.34
    Less NCB 3409.16
Interest from date of Picture being declared in default 115.35
    Total redress £7596.03

YOUR redress would amount to a little more than this as your interest rate went up so it looks OK TBH...

Marshallka we rcd a cheque for £9500 , did chickpee have NCB deducted This amount seems far to low to me, as our PPI was the same and yet she made 54 payments,, we only made 29 unless it is the NCB

    edit

    sorry just noticed the ncb.

I do think its a shame that chickpee had her NCB taken off though as some that are due it later are able to have it as well. DId anyone get anywhere with that complaint???

Barloo got a letter saying they were looking into it , which was better than the first letter he got which was a fob off, so I hope they are investigating further.

I've tried, just keep saying "our fees have always been 30%". Do not seem to see that they have failed as they never actually sent me a copy of said fees. Guy from legal helpling said no bill should ever come as a surprise.

Sorry having probs with the site...

Yes I would first go to Chatwins like their complaints procedure says. It all depends on if they want someone investigating further:rolleyes::D
