I just know that they have their own personal thread on this forum from their past clients. Its either them I think or Severn Marketing maybe. They both have this solicitor as their solicitors and I would just say to Lynnie to be very careful of any amounts they take from the claim. I would first make sure that you know the actual amount that is being paid out by the FSCS and don't let them make out that they have claimed any more for you than "just the usual PPI" that everyone on here has claimed. If they say they have claimed more than that then I would find this very hard to believe as these claims against Picture are ALL through the FSCS and the FSCS cannot make any more of a redress than that which is allowed in the FSA handbook. ;)

    I agree marshallka.

Lynnie have the fscs given you a breakdown of the claim in the letter they have sent you.
As marshallka has said, they cannot have claimed any more than the ppi and interest you have paid to date, and also a smal amount of redress, which didn't amount to very much really.which is what everyone of us on here have rcd

  • I think severn could be ringing bells. They initially took a fee of £25 per company claimed against. It is Chatwins that are taking the 5%.
  • Yes, I have a breakdown from fscs of exactly what has been paid back, so they can't say they have claimed a different amount.:rotfl::rotfl:

Lynnie, have you contacted the solictor with regards to YOUR cheque to see whats, what.
Solicitors do have a tendancy to hold on to any monies for as long as they can:eek::eek: and you do want it this side of chrismas

Thnt's good Lynnie. Why wasn't it paid direct to you and then for you to pay out their charges.

  • Contacted them today, meant to be getting a call ack 2moro. I shall pester them every day if i do not get a reply. I most defenitely want cheque this side of Christmas.
  • As Chatwins sent claim to fscs i can only assume that they are returning cheque to source they go it from. Award letter said they were returning to Chatwins as "we requested".

  • No problem busby, glad that people are looking out for each other, cause Picture and the likes certainly did not.
