:beer:Halpin and Alyson: Congratulations to you both. (Alyson they only have icons for saying cheers with beer, not with orange juice - you will have to use your imagination ;))

I called the FSCS yesterday regarding mine and nothing has been received from Deloitte yet.

Its my weekly call to Deloitte tomorrow. I just know I will be told the same as I was last week. 'We have all the paperwork here, we are working through them chronologically and you should hear in a matter of weeks' Yawn!

Damn Damn Damn and bloody damn.

Just gone through figures and something didnt look right to me so I phoned FSCS and they say if I dont agree, I cant bank the cheque and I have to write in with chapter and verse.

So who knows how long it will be before that cash is my account.

I refinanced after a year with Picture to another Picture loan (glutton for punishment)

now on the calculations I have received today the FSCS have stated that I received an amount of 4990.60 rebate back from the Insurer for cancellation of this PPI policy. Well this is it, I never did or have receive anything.

Im wondering whether this was put onto the superceeding PPI policy that I took out, but if so why doesnt this figure or anything like it get a mention in or on any of the paperwork I had from Picture.
If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!! :D

Thanks for the info busbyh, trying to find something that shows how quickly you can pay off by paying x amount off extra a month.

Which policy did you get that rebate from, the first or second?

Mine didnt show up from anything Picture gave but if you add up the figures of the top up loan (i got a letter listing topup amounts etc)I expect it will show not all of the first ppi policy was carried across.x

I 'foolishly' did the same thing, refinanced with picture. I called Picture/Target when filling out my forms for Deloittes to make sure I had the right amounts and I asked about this same thing. I was told that the rebate from the 1st PPI went straight against the loan during the re-finance.
