Thanks guys yes i am just waiting like the rest of you i had a phone call last saturday off deolitte asking me some questions like if i still had the loan or had i paid it off is said i still had it and he just said ok thanks i will be working on your claim today then pass it back to fscs so im waiting like the rest of you i have cancelled my policy as i went to cab and they said if you cancel it you save interest on it it was only £7 a month but like they said over 25 years thats quite a lot of money i also got a £850.00 rebate but it never even came to me it went straight to them i was not given a choice in this .

A rip off isn't it hun?
Mine is not with Picture but another company called Twopart Ltd, that went into default not long after.
My case was passed on a week last Friday back to the FSCS to what I am aware of, the FSCS emailed me last Monday to say they were reviewing my case then, and last I heard was we should receive a decision soon, so it could be sent in batches then I expect, maybe the remainder of us on here will receive good news this week.:beer:

Hi NEWTONCHANG,
We cancelled the Insurance also but received no rebate, just a reduction of £2 in monthly payment.
How long was it running before you cancelled. We cancelled after 32 months. I'm trying to work out how they do the rebate

So this loan is still active then?
You cancelled the PPI and the repayments hardly come down, did you take out any advances with them (loan advances) as well?
