One other bit of info that came to light is that our policy is with "TWG" so it may also be that we have different insurers as well. I also got the impression that the NCB came from the insurer not Picture.

Do you have a policy number Old-Wulf

everybody's circumstances are different Old-Wulf, and we all do what is best for us, couldn't agree mre with thaty.
We did cancel our PPI after 32 months. we remorgaged after 36mths, thank God and got rid of pICTURE.
On cancellation of the Insurance we received no rebate, just a reduction of £2 per month in the repayments, so in effect we rcd £6 rebate:mad:
    Edit

the only thing in waiting for fscs or the like to do anything is, there are Picture customers who are not aware they have a choice in this, and will just do as picture say, and this is just not right. We are lucky with this site or we we know very little aboutwhat is going on. But I do appreciate where you are coming from:beer:

your are correct saying the FSCS should take this up with Picture but I don't think this is within their remit. Maybe the FOS.
Did they say they would take it up when you spoke to them:beer:

I was thinking the same here in regards of the FOS hun, it may be the case here, if to do with the insurer on this one.

I was going to say this earlier but did not want to confuse anyone.:o;)
So glad you mentioned now though lol Xx

I have also added on Old_Wulf's post, for the FSCS to do anything, they won't do it through a verbal complaint. All formal complaints have to be put in writing, otherwise it will be ignored.

Have any of you ever looked on the Data protection register about Picture Finance Limited. If you type in Picture Finance nothing comes up although there is

PICTURE FINANCIAL FUNDING (NO 2) LIMITED
    Registered 5th June 2006
Listed here under "other names" is Picture loans

    PICTURE FINANCIAL FUNDING (NO.3) LIMITED
    Registered 16th June 2008
No other names for this one

    PICTURE FINANCIAL JERSEY LIMITED
    Registered 1st October, 2004
and then under this one for

    Representative Name:

    PICTURE FINANCE LIMITED

Does this mean that the actual company was a Jersey Company??? And Picture Finance Limited were only "representatives"??

    http://www.ico.gov.uk/ESDWebPages/search.asp

I was just checking they were actually registered to handle data....:D

From companies house their previous names were

Previous Names: Date of change Previous Name 05/07/2004 PICTURE FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED 29/04/2004 DE FACTO 1107 LIMITED

Just a bit of useless information for you.;)
