The PPI was paid in one lump sum by the lender. I think (and only a notion so not gospel!!) that the lender then transfers the policy to get the cashback maybe. Still working on that one.
Hi marshallka.
Thanks, I understand the ppi is a loan that as you say is paid to the Insurers.
What I am checking up on is if our Policy is still in force with the Insurers or have picture actually cancelled the Insurance. It's just that as we received no rebate at all I am curious as to whether they did cancel it or not.
Hopefully I will find out something soon as I have emailed them and asked if it is still in force.
If it comes back from the Insurers that it has been cancelled, then I will ask further questions regarding rebate etc.

Any chance you could fax this to them, with the post the way it is. They would then be sure of receiving it.
I will work on the letter more tomorrow and if any posters want anything adding or deleting, let me know so you can then copy it ready to send.
I'm out later, so won't be able to do much more on it today.:beer:dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT AN ACCOUNTNUMBER POLICYNUMBER IS? IS THIS UNIQUE TO PICTURE?!
The only Number we have is our actual Picture account number. I have always questioned this, as an Insurance policy always has a seperate number to the account
pinknico, we should know this policy document by heart, the amount of times we havr gone through it, and yet each time I read it, I come across something else.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
I wonder if they dont want us to know it so that we have to go through Picture in regards to anything to do with the insurance.
Didnt Deloitte advise someone to put the loan number on the questionnaire and they would get the policy number from the insurers? I may have got that wrong.DS1 12/10/04
