PINKNICO, I HAVE ADDED A BIT MORE RE- THEM ADVISING ON CANCELLING THE POLICY.

AS I HAVE NO LOAN WITH THEM AND OUR POLICY IS NOW CANCELLED, DO YOU THINK THEY MAY DISREGARD THIS EMAIL, AS I HAVE NOTHING TO GAIN FROM THEM
wOULD IT BE BETTER COMING FROM SOMEONE WH STILL HAS A CURRENT LOAN  MAYBE FROM LIAN OR OLD-WULF:confused: AS THEY WERE THE ONE'S WHO RANG PICTURE YESTERDAY. I'M SURE THEY WILL POST OVER THE WEEKEND AND LET ME KNOW WHAT THEY THINK

that is exactly how our policy should have read and it's very interesing still being covered for the duration on the five years if if loan has been repaid(although this would not apply to us)
On reading this I now recall many years ago when I tooK out a Nat west loan and pad it off early. I questioned the insurance and was told I would be covered for what would have been the remaing term of the loan.

I will have another read through and get back:T:T
This is why I always say who then has the Cashback when you settle early?? I often think its the actual lender who makes the claim on the cashback if you have paid the loan early.

Hi marshallka. Hope you are feeling better.
I know it won't apply to us as we cancelled after 32 months. But had we not cancelled the policy and just paid the loan off and thought that was the end of it,I'm sure you are correct and Picture/Target would have claimed our cash back, unbeknown to us, as initially we just accepted we were not entitled to any rebate and left it at that.

I think there are posters on here who have remortgaged, and don't think they cancelled the policy, just paid everything off.
So Picture have a policy waiting to run it's term and can at the end off the day receive 50% of it back.

That's great pinknico, I just think it will have more clout coming from someone who still has a loan, do you agree.

Maybe you could send as you well aware of policies etc and you are a "FIGHTER" :D with regard to our rights:T

    Good morning everyone.

Wow that is excellent Busbyh, just seen the other bits you added as well, good one hunni.:T:T:T and good luck.

Postie been, lots of mail but nothing special.

My mum said she spoke to my sister on the phone this morning, my sister told her she had early post at about half seven, then another about 10 o clock, I suppose they are trying to catch up, but to be posting twice they must have one heck of backlog of letters to delivery.

So if the postie have already been and gone folks, you never know, they may be delivering again throughout the day as well, fingers crossed.;)

Apparantley they are now advising customers it would be in their best interest to cancel the Insurance. Now why would that be? Could it be if they cancel they will lose out on their NCB, would this have anything to do with it costing less for you to pay out on a rebate than it would having to pay back 50% of the Policy after the 60 months! In other words, it is to your advantage ,not the customers' to cancel, as you now know that the NCB does not have to be paid back off the loan.

Unfortunately busbyh Picture dont pay the NCB the insurer do, but they want the rebate from cancellation which gets paid off the loan (according to them) as the NCB doesnt.
