Thanks amersall but the signs are not good, everyone seems to get their cheques on a Thursday so is there another cheque run? And if theres not and I have been assured my letter will be sent this week then how can it contain a cheque

How many more are waiting to hear from the FSCS?

Some postal areas are slower with others where this strike have not helped at all.

Another worry is with the post is, if they are using temps, not all know the areas like the main regular posties, this can also cause a delay in posting.

Examples of post, I applied for some items under Family Fund for my son with special needs, I checked the account today and some funds were transferred in there for his items, anyhow I emailed Family Fund and was told I should have received the letter last week to let me know this, but not received this up to now.

I must admit I'm getting worried now. I know my case has been back at the FSCS since at least 24 Sept so I'm wondering why the delay.
